<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> A three-phase voltage source inverter driven induction motor dynamic model developed using Simulink / MATLAB is presented. The presented model is derived from the d-q motor model. A modular approach is used in the construction of the motor-drive system model. The model presented is useful for studying both the steady-state and transient behavior of the motor drive system. The developed model enables the user to access all parameters of interest. Modifications can be made to the system model in order for it to be used with other motor drive system topologies. The model has benefits for use by undergraduate student researchers, and professors when used as a teaching tool in undergraduate courses. </span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> This paper is intended to simulate a power quality conditioning device, Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC), in countryside areas for non-linear loading. From past decades there is much increase in the requirement of the good quality electrical power in single phase distribution grids established in these locations. Due to technical advancement, three-phase loads are practiced more than single phase loads so that the demand for three phase distribution grids is growing. But the installation process of three-phase grids, at countryside areas, is not an economic option and to get access to these systems is a very challenging task. So a neighbouring three-phase distribution system is required to be established at the location, where single-phase to three-phase UPQC with single wire earth return is appropriate for the end user due to economic considerations. A dual compensation strategy is implemented to obtain the reference quantities for controlling the converters. The proposed idea is accomplished to eliminate voltage harmonics and mitigate further instabilities and power quality problems. This system allows the balanced and regulated voltage with lower harmonic content. Synchronous Reference Frame (SRF) based controllers are considered to organize the input grid current and the load voltages of the UPQC. The present prototype under consideration analyses and validates the compensation and controlling techniques using PI controller. The control strategies are simulated using MATLAB/SIMULINK. </span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> In wireless sensor networks(WSN) ,authentication of messages is the highly important function in preventing threats from un wanted , un authorized and corrupt messages from being sent. There are various message verification and authentication methods have been proposed as well as developed based on cryptography technology such as symmetric key cryptographic systems or public-key cryptographic systems. Also there are many different techniques available based on polynomial-based schemes, elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) and so on. All the above said methods have its own merits and demerits. In this research work a new method of authenticating the message by its IP and MAC address (together encrypting) and analysing the encrypted message to find the authenticity of the message and the node which has sent the message at collecting node will be carried out.</span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Tumor growth or, growth of cancerous cells is a big challenge in today’s medical word. When dealing with human life, the detection of tumors through computers has to be highly accurate. Thus we require the assistance of computer in medical examinations, so that we will get very low rate of false cases. Brain tumor, in today’s world, is seen as most threatening and life taking disease. In order to detect brain tumor more accurately in lesser time, many techniques have already been proposed using image segmentation and edge detection. In our paper we propose a technique which is more efficient to detect brain tumor where edge detection through cellular automata have been used from Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan images. It processes these images, and determines the area affected by using segmentation and edge detection with cellular automata. Simulated work is completed with the help of Simulink in MATLAB. Regarding this particular topic there are many studies, however our proposal of combination of both segmentation and edge detection through cellular automata shows better results as compared to combining segmentation with classical edge detection in term of computation time and clarity. This will help in efficiency of detecting brain tumor and later in its removal. </span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Data classification study is applied in a profound manner to find some statistical classifier to analyze the higher order and lower order priors, like a hood to perform the posterior using Bayesian classifiers. The rough set approaches planned with functional and to determine the existence of the attribute with the level to correlation among them. Approximations towards the set of some logical factors were filtered towards to detect the mental stress through data collection mainly from the working people sector. Significant analyses to quantify the features of mental stress in various diseases cataloging manner with its technical aspects with its classification types based on the class value. As a proposed system of suggested hypothesis planned to predict the classifier model to reduce the stress dependency for the working people as much as possible in a smoother way. </span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> The current study investigates the effect of masking of mental images with congruent and incongruent picture-stimuli among the students of Architecture and Humanities. Students from these two streams were chosen (N=60, mean age = 19 yrs.). Participants were shown a list of concrete words and were urged to make mental images. The images made by the participants were covered by the Experimenter by the congruent and incongruent pictures. The effect of masking was compared among the high and low imagery usage participants. Two t tests were computed to understand the significant differences between the means. A non-significant t of 1.031 was obtained for the high imagery expert group while, a significant t of 4.699, p &lt; 0.001 with df 58 was seen for low imagery expert group. Additionally, a two-way ANOVA was computed followed by Tukey’s post-hoc test to understand the difference in the overall recognition scores between the high and low imagery usage groups, the effect of masking on memory, and the interaction effect of both the variables. The findings have been discussed and interpreted with limitations and suggestions. </span><br />
